- Las Palmas is located at the geopolitical hub that connects Europe, Africa and South America, and as a strategic bridehead connecting these continents, there is a need for stepwise strengthening of cooperation.
- It is operated with the aim of expanding cooperation in the maritime industry with Europe and Africa, securing a bridgehead for expansion into the region, diversifying the Korean maritime industry in Las Palmas base, and promoting the ODA project in Africa.
